I thought her platform was pretty interesting. I wish she had talked more about the cultural and political significance of the Zapatista movement rather than relied on the audience's knowledge. Her firsthand experience in Mexico could have been very interesting and would have shed more light on her paintings. Still, I enjoyed hearing her discuss the progression of her style. Her Legends series is pretty spectacular and thought-provoking.
